Product introduction and principle

Reverse osmosis, referred to as RO, is a practical technology to selectively permeate certain components in the solution under the action of external pressure, so as to achieve the purpose of desalination, purification or concentration and separation. The reverse osmosis device is used in water treatment projects, it can remove most of the ions in the water, and can also remove impurities such as fine particles, bacteria and organic matter in the water. The reverse osmosis device is an advanced and economical means in the current water treatment equipment. The reverse osmosis process is to use a high-pressure pump to continuously pressurize the water with high salt content to the RO device. The RO device includes reverse osmosis membrane elements and membrane shells. The influent water is divided into low-salt permeate and high-salt concentrate, and the proportion of the water supply into the concentrate and permeate is controlled by a regulating valve.

Reverse osmosis device is suitable for desalination of brackish water, removal of high hardness of water, food, beverage, canned purified water and other fields.

System Components

Preprocessing part

The pretreatment of reverse osmosis water treatment system is often composed of quartz sand filter, activated carbon filter, security filter, etc. The main purpose is to remove sediment, rust, colloidal substances, suspended solids, pigments, and odors contained in raw water. , biochemical organic matter, reduce the residual ammonia value of water and harmful substances such as pesticide pollution. If the content of calcium and magnesium ions in the raw water is high, it is necessary to add a soft water device, the main purpose is to protect the reverse osmosis membrane of the latter stage from being damaged by large particles, thereby prolonging the service life of the reverse osmosis membrane.

Reverse osmosis host

It is mainly composed of high-pressure pump, membrane shell, reverse osmosis membrane, control circuit, etc. It is the core part of the entire water treatment system. The quality of the produced water also depends on this part. As long as the model of the membrane and the model of the high-pressure pump are properly selected, the filtration capacity of the reverse osmosis host to the salt in the water can reach more than 97%, and the conductivity of the effluent can be guaranteed to be within 15µs/cm.

Post-processing section

Mainly to further process the pure water obtained by the reverse osmosis main mechanism. If the subsequent process is connected to ion exchange or electrodeionization (EDI) equipment, industrial ultrapure water can be produced. Cleaning section

In order to ensure the normal operation of the reverse osmosis water treatment system and prolong the service life of the reverse osmosis membrane elements, when the reverse osmosis system runs for a period of time, it is necessary to remove calcium carbonate scale, metal oxide scale in water, biological growth (bacteria, fungi, mold, etc.) and other substances, the system needs to be cleaned.
